Listening to the Beatles. Thats what i remeber of my first study hall in houghton.

At the time they were remodling the multi-purpose room. It was dark in there with out the large windows.

I was sitting at a table and in she walked. She had very pale skin, and a dark sweater on. Her clothes were fit and followed her feminine figure very well.

She walked up and sat down next to me. "Hi you must be new here, my name is KT. and thats the letters Kay and Tee, not Katie."

We chatted, and as time went on she told me of her "love' a guy in wisconsin or down state. She kissed the spot on her hand where he was supposed to be. She then told me I should try out for the plays.

And so I tried out for the plays. this opened a new life for me. This made me happy in a way.

I also played speed solitaire. Was where this little black kid, Shannon Perkins, and I tried to race each other in Solitaire. She also told me her wishes when she dies. She taught me of Paganism.

High School sometimes reminds me of college. not like they have in the movies.
Today I had to get a new NMU id and as I was waiting for it I took a good look at my dirvers liscense. I had that phot taken about a year ago, before I had my glasses, before I had facial hair, and I got to thinking about the changes in my life. I started thinking about the moment I changed into adulthood when I moved out of my parents house and out on to my own. The first place I moved was and experience called NutHouse. Weird times and even weirder things. My life changed there, it changed alot. OF the people who read this only a few knew what it was like and only one saw what I did there. Then I moved to Paradise City. It was a shitty apartment, and times were hard. But I never felt closer to a group of people as when I lived there. Alot of people experienced that place. After that I spent a month at Nexus. That was fun. I enjoyed living with one of my best friends and getting into all sorts of trouble, like trying to find PAulding and letting Julie drive.

Then I moved away from my home town. I went to NMU and moved into my first dorm in Spooner. On the weekend I lived in either Nexus or CrackShack. Then I moved to another dorm, lived there until I moved into Arch house.

This is were things changed.

Now I live in Crescent Moon.

More on this story when I am bored tomorrow.

Peace out yo.

Todays subject is on racial divide.

Now some people may say I should refer to them as African Americans. I will not. They are not African Americans. I do not refer to myself as Scottish or European American. I am a white American. they are black Americans. There are many types of Americans and my use of black and white is not meant to be offensive. If someone grew up in Africa and then became a U.S. citizen then they are an African American.

A question I have about black girls in this cold region is: Why the fur hooded coats? There are much better ways to stay warm. The fur hoods don't retain much heat in the wind. Often times a good Carhartt or jacket like mine, along with a good headband, tuque, or hat will keep you much warmer.

Somethign on perceptions

I heard a black guy once complain because people always assumed he was a jock, or that he played sports alot. But the guy was built, could run fast and far, could rocket a football with no effort, and wore jerseys 4 days of the week. Well?

Also the so called 'N' word.
It is well known that usage of slurs is wrong but why do groups that hate them use them. Homosexuals use the term Dyke, Fag, Queer, Queen, and Fairy. I listen to black entertainers use nigga alot. Chapelle, Rock, Lawernce, and rap people are to name a few.

If people do not want to be called these names then why do they let them continue to exist. Why continue their usage so that it stays in the vernacular?

Bah

My thoughts are out of order today.

I guess Mouse never paid his half of the rent. This is begining to iiritate me. Now I have to try to appease my old landlord and avoid court. I will be very pissed if this goes to court. Grr.

So yea I went to the Pancake House last night. Cool place. I think I will begin going more often. Its nice to see a 24/7 place in Marquette.

Tonight at 11:00 PM I am trying to see who is interested in going to the Pancake House on 41. I think it would be neat to see who shows up. Unfortunatley I do not think alot will show.

So yea Right now I like to analyize groups by labels. The Angry Bisexaul, Bitter Man, Anger Man, two female republicans, one male libertarian, 2 little black girls, a F.I.S.H., Maybe a fib, a Catholic or 2, an maybe a stoner or two.

Why was the progressive era(1890 - 1920) both progressive and repressive period of American History?

E
